SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed with regards to the substantial amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The service issue produced for intervention encounters a superior influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to enable the servicing of all clients and boost entry to Social Assistance companies,” the website agency said.
